P.J. Blue, a safety from Park Crossing who decommitted from South Carolina following Steve Spurrier’s retirement, has picked out a new school.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Blue committed to Louisville on Tuesday. Blue is a four-star recruit who transferred from Jemison after last season and could project as a linebacker at the next level.

Kentucky, South Alabama and Clemson had all offered, and Alabama had shown interest.

Blue is Louisville’s second-highest commit in the 247Sports composite rankings, behind Columbus, Ga., quarterback Jawon Pass.
